Surely the stat missing is thigh circumference….or is this me being a bit weird?? loving the blog guys, keep it pumping!!!
That is a good point. It has been measured at the start of the trip.
Johan
Right 22 3/4″
Left 23 1/4″
Will
Right 22 1/4″
Left 22″
We’ll leave it a while before measuring again.
Steve’s been wearing lycra in the office as a show of support…
When are we getting an update on the thigh stats?? Should have doubled by now, looking at the weight of your bikes!
No tape measure but it’s safe to say thighs are each bigger than the waist now… so at least 31″! It’s making walking a bit of a challenge.
Wow!
Done a thigh measurement. They’ve evened up over the course of the trip. (and enlarged)
Right – Started at 22 3/4″ and ended at 23 1/2″
Left – Started at 23 1/4″ and ended at 23 1/2″
Not as bad as it could have been.
Love the stats..very interesting. Oh dear , had to laugh at Will’s awful experience…not one for the stats I take it! We following the updates with much interest and would be devastated if they were to stop now. Keep at it , it will be worth it at the finish!
I agree with Jackie – don’t give up – just think of that dung beetle when you are at rock bottom! And what’s more, it would be very selfish of you to now take away the entertainment that we have become accustomed to!
PS Love the watermelon on the back of the bike.
Awesome effort. Hae you measured te thighs yet?
