The Desert Crossing
The Karakum Desert has thrown all but the kitchen sink at us. We’ve had ferocious headwinds, crosswinds, heat, thunderstorms and terrible roads. Somehow we’ve made it into Uzbekistan to the town of Nukus and back to some semblance of civilisation. Here are some photos.
